For my final major project in this module I decided to create an animation which coveyed the theoretical concept of Share Authorship. I had research this part of the module more in deoth as it was the design concept I studied for my essay.

My initial idea was to create a short film and then pass on the original footage for other people to edit. This experiment I felt would create a series of films all using the same footage and yet all having entirely different angles. This idea, although interesting and engaging was more in lines with the theory of the remix concept so I decided to relook at my project.

After some though I decided on an animation. I would ask everybody I knew to send me pictures of apples. I would then, using all the frames I had been sent, create a collage/ animation of the apples.

So, to start the process off... I had to let everyone know what I was planning and start to gather all the pictures.....

So, Here is the final project.... I sorted through all the photos I could use and then using Final Cut Pro edited as best I could. It was always going to a risk because I didnt know what I would receive. I have called the film 'A is for Author!' A play on words which I think demonstates the concept of shared authorship as well as the film. The author is the creator, the first.
These are exported films. I changed it slightly before deciding on the final. Click on the title 'A is for Author' for the final animation.
