I am a diligent, hard working and friendly person. I am a proactive, efficient, reliable individual. I have excellent time keeping skills, and work well in a team. I am a resourceful logical person who enjoys a challenge and problem solving. I have excellent customer service skills gained by working in the airline industry.
I returned to college in 2008 to do a B Tec National Diploma in Graphic Design gaining triple distinctions for my work. I have In addition to college, I also attended Central St Martins, once a week for contextual studies; I received a foundation degree certificate from the University of the Arts for this course. I am computer literate (Mac and PC) and can use a variety of systems and software including; Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Internet explorer. I can use Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Final Cut Pro and Flash proficiently. I have some experience of Dreamweaver.
Currently I am at Westminster University studying for my BA in Graphic Design. I spent my first year at university in the Animation course which was a varied year covering all aspects of animation from light boxes to Maya. Now I am in my 2nd year studying Typography, and Contextual Studies.

Playboy TV

Nature of work: Production Co Ordinator
From March 2011 to August 2011, Full time Maternity Cover Contract

Whilst at the end of my first year at university I was worked at Playboy TV in the IT Department. Iniatially I worked my days off, then full time after Easter. My duties included updating Demand websites with new content, manage the New Zealand homepages and the Games, and Movie reviews on the Playboy UK website. I also had the task of Twittering, on the hour of new info!
The main websites were managed through private CMS’s which I updated and I used Web uploading programmes such as Filezilla, as well as Dreamweaver for other sites. I sourced high quality pictures in library catalogues for page highlights and cropped, and edited them using photoshop.

From September 1998 to September 2000, part-time contract with overtime.

I thoroughly enjoyed working at the airport. I had experience at check in, at the gates and with baggage too before becoming an Airside Coordinator. My job was to meet arriving planes and arrange special meals etc for passengers. I gained many skills whilst working at the airport such as working in a team, elite customer service skills, reliability, punctuality, meeting deadlines and immaculate personal presentation.

Career Break

In 2000 I left American Airlines, to be a stay at home Mum. During the first four years of my son's life he was continuously seriously ill so I wasn't able to return to work full time until much later when he was at school. I worked at few short-term jobs such as a Nursery assistant, Telesales and then an Art Technician. I became frustrated in the role of technician because I knew I was capable of more than the job would allow me to do.
